Day 23 of Lent
“Redeeming Love”
Scripture: “But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons.” Galatians 4:4-5 ESV
There’s something deeply personal about the word redeem. It’s not just about rescue,it’s about restoration. On this 23rd day of Lent, I reflect on the magnitude of God’s redemptive plan. From the moment sin entered the world, God was already weaving a story of salvation that would culminate in the person of Jesus Christ. Paul reminds us in Galatians that Jesus came “in the fullness of time.” That means not too early, not too late, exactly when God intended. Born of a woman. Born under the same law we could never fully keep. And why? To redeem us. To free us from the weight of sin and welcome us as sons and daughters into the family of God. Let this song “Redeeming Love” by Babe Damulag, be the soundtrack of your reflection today. Let the words sink deep and remind you of how precious you are in God’s eyes. This isn’t just about forgiveness, it’s about adoption. It’s about identity. It’s about belonging. Through Jesus, we are not only saved, we are claimed. Chosen. Brought near to God, in Jesus’ name. Thanks be to God!
The journey continues…
Blessings and Peace,
