Day 25 of Lent
“Trusting God Daily”
“Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act.” Psalm 37:5 ESV
On this rainy Saturday, as the heavens pour down, I’m reminded of the gentle yet powerful invitation to trust God daily. Lent is a sacred journey, a time to pause, reflect, and realign our hearts with the One who leads us faithfully. Let today’s scripture settle in your spirit today. Trust isn’t always easy, but it is always rewarding when that trust is in God. The song “If You But Trust God to Guide You” by George Neumark, featuring Songs and Everlasting Joy is an invitation of trust. Life brings its share of storms, both literal and spiritual, but even in difficult times, God’s direction never falters. When we choose to trust God fully, we find ourselves walking in a life filled with purpose, peace, and quiet strength. God is faithful to act when we commit our way to God. That’s not just a promise, it is a truth that anchors the soul. In moments of uncertainty, fear, or waiting, this verse speaks directly to the heart:
Prayer:
Lord, help me to trust You more deeply today. I commit my plans, my fears, and my future into Your hands. Even when the path seems unclear, I know You are at work. Lead me, guide me, and remind me that Your way is always best. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
The journey continues…
Blessings and Peace,
