“Christ Above All”
Scripture:
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” 1 Peter 1:3 ESV
As we enter Day 26 of Lent, we pause to marvel at the depth of Christ’s redeeming love a love so powerful that He who is above all chose to come down to us. The Son of God, exalted and eternal, took on human flesh not for His gain, but for ours. He walked among the broken, bore our burdens, and gave His life so we might be born again into a living hope. This hope is not passive. It’s alive because Jesus lives. His resurrection is not only proof of victory over death, but a promise that we too are being made new. Our faith is not rooted in fear or obligation, but in mercy. And it is mercy that calls us to praise today. As we reflect, let the lyrics of the song “Above All” by Lenny LeBlanc stir your heart. Christ’s sacrifice was deeply personal. He thought of you. He chose you. He gave everything, placing your redemption above His own glory.Let that truth sink in—not just as theology, but as a love story. You are loved beyond comprehension. You are invited into a living hope. And today, you are called to live like someone who has been redeemed.
The journey continues…
Blessings and Peace,
