Day 31 of Lent
“A Soul That Thirsts”
Scripture: “As a deer pants for flowing streams, so pants my soul for you, O God.”
Psalm 42:1 ESV
Today, as the sun quietly rose, I felt a familiar yearning deep within, a daily, soul-stirring need to seek the presence of God. Let the song “As The Deer” by the Maranatha Singers, lead you into devotion, worship, and stillness before the Lord today. As you and I move through today, may our souls find rest in knowing that God is with us, not only in this sacred season but always. Like the deer in Psalm 42, my soul pants for the living water that only God provides. Lent is a season of renewal, repentance, and reflection. But more than that, it is a sacred invitation to draw closer to the One who refreshes our souls. As we journey through these 40 days, may we do so with hearts open and expectant, knowing that each day we spend with God draws us deeper into God’s peace, God’s purpose, and God’s presence. Let us not just seek God out of habit, but with intensity, believing that God meets us every time we show up. In moments of quiet, in times of worship, and in the stillness of reflection, God is here, In Jesus name.
The journey continues…
Blessings and Peace,
