Today’s Song For Reflection

Holy Tuesday
Devotion and Reflection
Today is Holy Tuesday, the second day of Holy Week. On this sacred day, the Church commemorates several profound moments from the life and ministry of Jesus: His teachings through parables, His bold confrontation with religious leaders, and the powerful symbolism found in the Fig Tree incident th e shows that God is patient and offers opportunities for repentance and fruitfulness, but those opportunities are not infinite. The parable emphasizes the importance of bearing spiritual fruit, reflecting a life of faith and good works, and warns against complacency and neglecting one’s spiritual growth. As I reflect on these events, I find myself drawn to a soul-searching question:
What does it mean to be truly vigilant in my daily devotion? To be vigilant is to stay spiritually awake, to remain watchful, engaged, and deeply intentional in how we spend time with God. The song “Be Still for the Presence of the Lord” by Magdalene Shodavaram. It means slowing down in a world of distractions and listening carefully for God’s voice, even in stillness. Today, I recommit myself to spending intentional time in God’s presence, to be still, to be present, to be faithful in spirit. In the quiet moments of Holy Tuesday, may we all find renewed strength and clarity as we rest in God’s Word and reflect on Christ’s unwavering mission. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
The journey continues…
Blessings and Peace,
