Song For Reflection

Holy Saturday Reflection
“Pray then like this…”
Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.
Matthew 6:9 ESV
Today, we enter into the sacred stillness of Holy Saturday, a day often overlooked, yet deeply profound. It is a Sabbath of solemn waiting, a pause between the agony of the cross and the glory of resurrection. On this day, we remember that Jesus was laid in a borrowed tomb, fulfilling prophecy and foreshadowing the hope of what is to come. The tomb was not the end—it was the place of holy silence before divine victory. The song for reflection, “The Lord’s Prayer” by Andrea Bocelli and The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square is a reminder that Jesus taught his followers how to pray what we now know as The Lord’s Prayer. The Lord’s Prayer centers us. It reminds us that even in the waiting, in the unknown, we are called to revere God’s name, trust in His will, and seek His presence. I pray that we spend some time this day in prayer as preparation for the celebration of Resurrection Sunday. Take this time to reflect. Rest. Listen. Wait in holy anticipation.
The journey continues…
Blessings and Peace,
