Resurrection Reflection
The Astonishing Power of the Empty Tomb”

“But Peter rose and ran to the tomb; stooping and looking in, he saw the linen cloths by themselves; and he went home marveling at what had happened.” Luke 24:12 ESV

Today, I’m reflecting on the astonishing power of the Empty Tomb, a moment that changed everything.  The song for reflection, “The Stone Was Rolled Away” by Kana Canaan, retells the story of the empty tomb. It wasn’t just the conclusion of Jesus’ earthly ministry, it was the launch of new life, the birth of eternal hope, and the breaking forth of unstoppable victory through Christ!

“But Peter rose and ran to the tomb; stooping and looking in, he saw the linen cloths by themselves; and he went home marveling at what had happened.” — Luke 24:12 (ESV)

Imagine Peter’s heart racing as he ran. His confusion. His amazement. His wonder. The tomb was empty—not because someone took Jesus away, but because death could not hold Him. The stone was rolled away, and Resurrection Power had the final word.  In your own life, what tombs need to be emptied? What stones need rolling away? The same power that raised Christ from the dead is alive and at work in you today.  Let today be the day you step into resurrection living. Reflect, rejoice, and share this message of hope with someone who needs to hear it.

The  journey continues…
Blessings and Peace,
Pastor Monica J
