Resurrection Reflection
Praying in Jesus’ Name
Scripture: “Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” John 14:13 ESV
As I continue to live into the power and promise of the Resurrection, I find myself reflecting on what it means to be Resurrection People. This identity invites us to pray with boldness, hope, and confidence, in Jesus’ name. To pray in Jesus’ name is not a formula—it’s an alignment. It is a declaration that we trust in His authority, rest in His victory, and seek God’s will above all else. The Resurrection of Christ gives us not only access to eternal life but also ongoing access to divine purpose. When we pray in His name, we are invited to participate in God’s redemptive work in the world. The scripture minds us that prayer is not about bending God to our desires, but about aligning our desires with God’s glory. As Resurrection People, our prayers are powerful when they are rooted in the risen Christ, driven by faith, and purposed for the Father’s glory.
The journey continues…
Blessings and Peace,
