“Refresh and Renew”

Scripture
“Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:6-7 ESV.

Devotion
As we enter this new day, we are invited to rest in the joy of God’s presence. Today, let God’s love and peace fill your heart. There is no deeper peace or greater assurance than knowing God is with us, right now, right here. This midweek moment is the perfect time to seek spiritual renewal, revival, and restoration. God graciously offers these gifts to everyone who humbles themselves before Him. Embrace God’s forgiveness and the sustaining presence of the Holy Spirit, who gently lifts our burdens, refreshes our hope, and strengthens our faith.

Reflection
Sometimes life weighs heavily, our hearts carry anxieties, disappointments, and uncertainties. Yet God invites us to surrender every worry and burden to God, in Jesus name. In humility, we bow beneath God’s mighty hand, trusting God to lift us up. God cares for each of us deeply, and in God’s presence, we discover renewed hope and strength to move forward. Say as and affirmation “I proclaim restoration and renewed joy,  God cares for me and you.” Now go and encourage others with the same passion and compassion with this declaration. In Jesus name. Amen.

Call to Action

☀️Pray: Make space to pray, reflect on His promises, and rejoice in God’s faithfulness.

☀️Experience: Seek and experience God’s renewing presence.

☀️Serve: Look for opportunities to bless and encourage others.

☀️Share:  Be kind, speak hope, as an ambassador of God’s love.

☀️Breathe: Take deep breathes in and out to release your anxieties, in Jesus name.

Pray
Gracious and loving God, Thank You for Your abiding presence in this new day. I receive Your forgiveness and the gift of the Holy Spirit. Please release me from every burden, renew my sense of hope, and strengthen my faith. Teach me to humbly surrender my anxieties and trust in Your care. Fill me with the joy and peace that only You provide. Empower me to act as Your ambassador, bringing encouragement and love to those around me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
