“Practice Surrender and Rest”

Devotion
Today, I invite you to surrender your burdens and trust fully in God’s grace, especially if you find yourself wrestling with fear, doubt, or uncertainty. The Lord calls us to let go, resting in God’s presence to find comfort, strength, shelter, joy, peace, and love. Even in our uncertainty, God is working. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, challenges can be turned into beauty, ashes into joy, and weakness into strength. Remember this truth: no one is ever truly alone when they surrender their struggles to God.

Reflection
When we surrender our struggles, whether loud or silent, big or small, God meets us with comfort, strength, shelter, and a peace the world cannot give. Even in moments of brokenness, the  power  of the  Holy Spirit is at work, transforming our pain into beauty and our challenges into testimony.  Let your heart be reminded,  God is closer than your next breath. In every season and every circumstance, the Lord’s presence brings lasting hope, joy, and love.  As you move through this day, practice surrender.

Call to Action
☀️Pause for a moment and silently name one burden or worry you’re holding.
☀️Offer it to God, trusting that He hears and cares.
☀️Be bold, reach out to someone who may need encouragement.
☀️Stay connected: pray and reflect daily, and join our community of faith and hope.

Pray
Gracious God, I come to You with my heart open. I surrender the fears, doubts, and uncertainties I carry. Remind me today that I am never alone, for Your love shelters me and Your Spirit gives me strength. Where I feel broken, create new beauty; where I feel weary, bring peace and hope. Help me to trust fully in Your goodness and to share Your love with others.  In Jesus’s name, Amen.
