Friday Peace Be With You!
“God’s Got This”

Scripture
“The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.” 1 Timothy 1:5 ESV

Devotion
“God’s got this!” means to not worry or stress, but to trust that God has everything under control and will work things out in your situation. The phrase conveys a message of faith, reassurance, and reliance on God’s power and plan, suggesting God is overseeing and providing for every detail. God also provides guidance through the Holy Spirit when we experience good news and joy, if we invite God into our celebrations as well as our struggles. God’s unwavering presence and miraculous power reminds us daily that we can find strength, purpose, and hope in God, in Jesus’ name. 

Reflection
Life brings both hardships and celebrations. Let us carry this truth into our hearts today and allow it to shape our actions, words, and faith journey. Too often, we run to God only in times of trial or forget to bring God into our moments of joy. Today’s message is an invitation to see God’s goodness in every moment, whether painful or joyful, challenging or triumphant.  Where in your life do you need to remember that God is present? Is there a hardship where you need His assurance, or a celebration where you need His guidance?

Call to Action
🙏🏽Name one place of struggle and one place of joy invite God’s presence.
🙏🏽Encourage someone with how God has shown up in your life.
🙏🏽Pray with someone  as a sign of walking together in faith and encouragement.

Pray
Gracious and Loving God, thank You for being present in both my pain and my joy. Thank You for guiding me when life feels uncertain and for celebrating with me when I experience blessing. Remind me to always turn to You, to trust Your Spirit’s guidance, and to walk in love that comes from a pure heart, a good conscience, and a sincere faith. Strengthen me today to reflect Your goodness in my words and actions. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
