Advent Blessings and PEACE

Scripture
“For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace.”  Ephesians 2:14–15 (ESV)

Devotion
Today is Day Seven of Advent, and my heart reflects deeply on the beautiful gift of PEACE. Jesus Christ is our PEACE, the One who breaks down every “dividing wall of hostility” that separates us. Through His birth in Bethlehem and His sacrificial death on the cross, Christ created one new humanity, uniting us as children of God and reconciling us to one another.  This is the PEACE the world cannot give, the kind of peace that transcends circumstances and calms the soul. It’s the peace our world desperately needs, especially in seasons of division and uncertainty. As followers of Christ, we are called to carry this peace wherever we go. PEACE is not passive; it is active, intentional, and transformative.

Reflection
Pause and ask: Where do I need to invite Christ’s PEACE into my life today?
Maybe it’s within a relationship that needs healing, a heart weighed down by anxiety, or a situation that feels tense or uncertain. Remember, when we make room for the Prince of PEACE, He brings harmony to every broken area within and around us. Be a vessel of PEACE today, reflecting the unity, gentleness, and compassion of Jesus in every interaction.

Call to Action
🕊️Be a peacemaker in one conversation today.
🕊️Speak gently and with grace.
🕊️Listen with compassion instead of reacting in haste.
🕊️Seek to bring unity where there is division.
🕊️Let someone feel the PEACE of Christ through your presence and your words.

Pray
Prince of Peace, thank You for breaking down every wall that divides and for uniting us in Your perfect love. Fill my heart today with Your peace, PEACE that is deep, steadfast, and unshakable. Help me to live as a peacemaker in my words, actions, and relationships. May others see Your light and love through me. In Your holy name, Jesus, Amen.
