 Advent Blessings and JOY

Scripture
“You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”  Psalm 16:11 ESV

Devotion
Today I find JOY in God’s presence that transcends my circumstances. God reveals the way to true, lasting life and purpose. His presence brings complete JOY and spiritual fulfillment through Jesus Christ. In Him, we experience inner PEACE and confidence that come from trusting God, confidence that allows us to face difficulties with unwavering HOPE.  Jesus fills us with JOY that endures through every season. Choose the JOY of the Lord today.

Reflection:
In this Advent season, we are invited to seek God’s presence as the source of every true blessing and lasting joy rather than temporary worldly pleasures. Joy in Christ does not depend on ease or comfort but springs from knowing we are loved, redeemed, and guided by His Spirit. When we open our hearts to God’s divine presence, we receive guidance, inner peace, and lasting fulfillment in the Holy Spirit.Where have you seen or felt God’s JOY in your life recently? How can you let that JOY shine through you to bless others during Advent?

Pray
Heavenly Father, thank You for revealing the path of true life and JOY through Your Son, Jesus. Help me to live each day rooted in Your presence, confident in Your promises, and filled with the JOY that only You can give. Let my heart overflow with gratitude and peace, even in challenging moments. May my life reflect Your JOY and draw others closer to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
