Advent Blessings and LOVE

Scripture
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.” John 13:34 ESV

Devotion
Today, I reflect on the unwavering LOVE of God—a love that gives strength, purpose, salvation, and transformation through Christ. During this holy Advent season, we are reminded that God’s presence and power are revealed through HOPE, PEACE, JOY, and LOVE.  God’s redeeming LOVE through Jesus offers us freedom and invites us into real-world action—through service, compassion, and justice—so that Christ’s presence is made visible in us and through us. LOVE becomes more than an idea; it becomes a lived witness, a testimony of God’s work alive in our hearts and hands.

Reflection
Let us be the transformative love that mirrors Christ’s own—extending grace, forgiveness, and kindness that lead others to see Jesus more clearly. LOVE is not only a gift of Christmas; it is the foundation of our salvation. Thank God for Jesus today! How can I reflect the love of Christ in each moment today?  Am I willing to be the hands and heart of Jesus to someone who needs encouragement, forgiveness, or compassion?

Call to Action
💖Express LOVE through intentional kindness and service.
💖Forgive someone who has wronged you, releasing any burden of resentment.
💖Thank God for Jesus, the true embodiment of perfect love.
💖Share a message of LOVE with someone who needs to hear it.

Pray
Gracious and Loving God, Thank You for the gift of Your unfailing love revealed through Jesus Christ. Help me to live out that love in my words, actions, and attitudes. Teach me to mirror Christ’s compassion and to bring hope and healing wherever I go. May Your transforming love shine through me, drawing others closer to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
