Abiding Hope

Scripture
“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” Romans 15:13

Devotion
Christmas has passed, but HOPE remains. God’s faithfulness does not end with the celebration of Christmas Day; it carries us forward into every season that follows. Hope abides because Christ abides with us, steady and sure, guiding our steps into the days ahead. The same God who met us in the wonder of Christmas continues to walk with us, faithful in promise and present in power.

Reflection
As we move beyond the celebration, we are reminded that hope is not a moment—it is a way of living rooted in God’s unfailing faithfulness. Because Christ remains with us, we can face the future with confidence, joy, and peace, trusting the Holy Spirit to help us abound in hope.

Prayer
God of hope, thank You for Your faithfulness that never ends. As we move beyond Christmas Day, fill our hearts with joy and peace as we continue to trust You. By the power of the Holy Spirit, help us to abound in hope—today and in the days ahead. We rest in Your promises, confident that You are with us always. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
