“Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable.”
Psalm 145:3 ESV

Devotion
As the year 2025 comes to an end, today I reflect on this truth: God’s mercies are new every day, including today. God is the source of all purpose, leading us to pour out praise because our very breath is a gift from God, worthy of worship in every circumstance. God’s greatness is unsearchable, and we, like all creation, exist to reflect the glory of God. Through Jesus Christ we find hope and restoration, and through the Holy Spirit we receive guidance for the days ahead. As the year closes, God lovingly invites us to step forward renewed, restored, and ready for what is next.

Reflection
Pause and look back with gratitude on the year behind you. Notice the lessons learned, the growth experienced, and the ways God has carried you through. Release regret into God’s hands and embrace grace anew. Allow praise to rise from your heart as you prepare for the journey ahead, trusting that God’s purpose is still unfolding.

Pray
Gracious and mighty God, we praise You for Your unsearchable greatness and Your mercies that are new every morning. Thank You for carrying us through this year and for the lessons You have taught us along the way. Help us to release regret, embrace Your grace, and step forward renewed and restored. As we prepare for what lies ahead, guide us by Your Holy Spirit and fill us with hope through Jesus Christ. In His holy name we pray. Amen.
