Scripture:  “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.”  2 Timothy 2:15 ESV

The scripture lesson is a reminder as we grow in our faith, God calls us to be diligent in our walk, studying God’s Word, living with integrity, and standing boldly in truth. May we be faithful workers, honoring God in all we do. The song of inspiration is “This Is The Day” by Fred Hammond.  Let this song be our declaration God has given us this day to worship, to serve, and to rejoice!I am ready, praying, and worshiping before my in-person worship with Dr. Cheree Trent Mills at New Awakening UMC at 9 AM with my faith family and community. Sundays are sacred, an intentional time for devotion, praise, prayer, and worship. It is in this holy rhythm that I find renewal, strength, and joy. As I prepare my heart today, I am reminded that encountering God with rejoicing and expectation positions me to receive His wisdom and love.  No matter where you are today, I encourage you to pause, pray, and praise—for this is the day that the Lord has made! Let us rejoice and be glad in it!
