Title of The Word For Today

Scripture
“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” — 1 Corinthians 15:57 ESV

Devotion – Living in Resurrection Victory
Today, I reflect on the spiritual meaning of “Victory.” As I enter this season of fasting, prayer, and preparation, I am reminded that true “Victory” is found in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus’ resurrection is the foundation of our triumph over sin, brokenness, and death.  Through Christ, “Victory” becomes more than a moment—it becomes an act of thanksgiving, a lifestyle, and a natural expression of our relationship with a God who is ever-present. Because Jesus rose, we rise. Because He overcame, we overcome. Because He lives, we live with confidence and hope.  This “Victory” brings comfort in times of grief or loss, reminding us that death is not the end but a passage into eternal life. Even in seasons of uncertainty, we stand anchored in the promise that the grave has been defeated and despair does not have the final word.  Victory is not earned, it is given. And today, we receive it with gratitude.

Reflection
Because of the “Victory” we have in Jesus and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we can stand firm and remain steadfast in our faith right now. We move forward with confidence, knowing that our labor in the Lord is never in vain. Every prayer, every act of obedience, every quiet sacrifice matters in the kingdom of God.  Where in my life do I need to remember that the battle has already been won?  How can I live today as someone who truly believes in resurrection power?  Am I walking in thanksgiving, or am I still striving as if victory depends on me?
