Devotion – Every Breath Is Praise
Today I reflect on praise and how every breath I take is a gift from God, making praise a natural and ongoing response to God’s ongoing provision each second of the day. Praise extends beyond humans to all creation—the very existence of creation honors God’s handiwork. When we think of praise, we often picture soaring melodies, raised hands, or spoken words of gratitude. Yet praise is far more expansive than these expressions alone. Every moment we acknowledge God’s presence and provision becomes an act of worship. Every heartbeat, every sunrise, every small miracle in our daily lives is an invitation to recognize and celebrate our Creator..
Reflection
Let each day of 2026 be a joyful, all-encompassing recognition and celebration that God is worthy of our “Praise” with every moment, every breath, every day. As you move through today, consider how praise permeates your entire existence. Let praise flow through: The routine moments we often take for granted. Times of struggle when praise seems difficult. Celebrations of God’s goodness in our lives. Interactions where we lift others up and encourage their faith. Quiet moments when we simply breathe and trust.

✨Acknowledge: Recognize God’s presence in at least three moments each day.
✨Worship: Praise God out loud, using instruments, songs, dance, or spoken words.

✨Invite: Ask the Holy Spirit to lead your steps throughout your day
✨Celebrate: Say out loud one way God’s provision is working in your life
Pray
Almighty and Eternal God, Today, I choose to praise You in every season: in times of abundance and times of want, in moments of joy and seasons of struggle. Strengthen my heart to sing when it’s hard to sing, to worship when circumstances seem dark, and to trust in Your faithfulness no matter what I face. Thank You for the gift of breath, the gift of this moment, and the endless opportunities to recognize Your goodness in my life. Help me to understand that praise is not just a song I sing, but a way of life, a constant, joyful acknowledgment of Your presence and provision. Let 2026 be a year where every breath, every moment, every day reflects my joyful recognition that God, You, are worthy of all my praise. In the holy name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
