Devotion – Anchored in Truth
Today I reflect on Truth, truth-telling, truthfulness, and spiritual Truth, and how it defines me and my faith in a world that spreads doubt and insists there is more fake than real. The Truth that anchors me is this: I am a child of God and I belong to God. Through Jesus Christ and the Word, I am able to distinguish the Truth of God from deception. Truth is found in continuous engagement with God’s teachings, bringing understanding of profound spiritual truths about God, life, and purpose.
Reflection
God’s Truth liberates humanity from the power of sin, deception, fear, shame, and the world’s limitations and false teaching, opening us to God’s way with assurance, in Jesus’ name, and through the daily guidance of the Holy Spirit. In 2026, I ask God to unlock spiritual freedom and true understanding of God’s Truth. As I abide in God’s Word, I choose to live grounded, discerning, and free—confident that God’s Truth defines who I am and how I live.
Call to Action
✨Persist daily in God’s Word to remain grounded in Truth.
✨Reject fear, shame, and false teaching that conflict with God’s Truth.
✨Speak Truth over your identity: I am God’s child and I belong to God.
✨Invite the Holy Spirit to guide you in Godly Truth, understanding, and choices.
✨Walk boldly in the freedom that God’s Truth provides.
Pray
Gracious God, thank You for Your Truth that sets me free. Help me to abide in Your Word and recognize Your Truth above every lie, fear, or deception. Anchor my identity in You, strengthen my faith, and guide me daily by the Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name, I receive Your Truth, freedom, and assurance. Amen.
