A Hungry Heart Satisfied in Christ

Scripture:  “Jesus said to them, *‘I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.’”  John 6:35 ESV

I am grateful for the gift of a new day, I’m stepping into it with a thankful heart, inviting God’s presence to lead and guide each moment. Today, I reflect on a profound truth:  True satisfaction and lasting purpose are only found in a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ.  Nothing else fills the soul like He does. Achievements, possessions, or even relationships cannot satisfy the deep hunger within. Only Jesus, the Bread of Life, can do that.  Take a moment today to be still. Just be, with God. Let His Spirit nourish your soul and refresh your spirit. There’s no striving in His presence, only resting and receiving. The more we turn to Christ, the more we realize we were never meant to live apart from Him. Let Him fill every empty space. Let Him become your daily bread.

Call to Action:
Pause. Pray. Let Jesus feed your soul today.
Spend Time: Take 10–15 minutes in quiet time, reading John 6.
Share with someone how Jesus satisfies your soul like no one else can.

Prayer
Gracious Lord, Thank You for the gift of a new day. Thank You for Jesus, the Bread of Life, who fills my deepest hunger and quenches every thirst. Help me to seek You first and find joy in Your presence. Quiet the noise around me so
I can be still and know that You are God. Feed my soul with Your Word.
Guide my steps with Your Spirit. In You alone I find purpose, peace, and satisfaction.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
