Happy Watchful and Waiting Wednesday

Scripture:  “Wait for the Lord and keep his way, and he will exalt you to inherit the land; you will look on when the wicked are cut off.”  Psalm 37:34 ESV

Today, I joyfully proclaim this truth: God is here! He is always present, right in the middle of our waiting, our walking, and even in the chaos around us. Even when we don’t see Him, God is at work, both in the open and behind the scenes. Trust that He knows what’s best and is guiding every step of your journey, in Jesus’ name.  Waiting is not a waste of time, it is holy ground. In the waiting seasons of life, God cultivates something deeper in us. We grow in patience. We deepen our faith. We learn how to trust the quiet whisper of the Holy Spirit’s guidance.  So today, pause and take a deep breath. Be still. Listen. Let God’s peace meet you in the in-between. What may feel like a delay is often a divine preparation.  God is doing something beautiful.

Call to Action:
Pause today. Breathe deeply and thank God for His presence in the waiting.
Journal or write on a post it  one area of your life where you’re waiting on God, and ask the Holy Spirit for renewed trust. Put on a mirror on in your Bible.
Share this devotion with someone who needs a reminder that waiting is not wasted.

Pray
Gracious God, Thank You for being near in every moment of my life—especially in the waiting. Help me not to rush ahead or lose heart, but to trust that You are working things out for my good. Teach me to wait with hope, to listen with expectancy, and to walk by faith. Holy Spirit, guide me through every season with peace and patience.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
