Devotion for Thursday
“Wonderful Wonders”

Scripture:  “Many, LORD my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us. None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell of your deeds, they would be too many to declare.”  Psalm 40:5 ESV

Happy Thursday!  Today, I pause to contemplate the incredible works of our God, and my soul responds with awe, gratitude, and worship. Even in life’s hardest moments, God’s power and love are still at work. God’s grace sustains us. God’s love strengthens us. God’s wonders never cease.  Take a moment today, just one breath, to reflect on the goodness of the Lord. Remember one memory of God’s faithfulness. Recall one glimpse of God’s glory. Let your heart be reminded that no matter what you face, God has done, and continues to do, amazing things for you and through you. The beauty of walking with God is that we are always surrounded by His wonderful wonders, whether in big miracles or quiet moments of grace.

Call to Action:
☑️Praise God intentionally.
☑️Thank God,  through prayer, journaling, whispering.
☑️Listen to a worship song.
☑️Acknowledge God’s goodness.
✝️Share a testimony of God’s faithfulness with someone.

Pray:
Gracious God, I stand in awe of You today. You are the God of wonderful wonders too many to count. Thank You for the ways You move in my life, both seen and unseen. In my praise and in my quiet reflection, I give You all the glory. Strengthen my heart with Your love, steady my steps with Your grace, and help me to always recognize Your presence and power at work. Let me live today with a spirit of gratitude and worship, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
