Wake-Up Call Wednesday 
“Faith That Moves Toward Justice”

Scripture:  “Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow’s cause.”  Isaiah 1:17 ESV

Today, the Holy Spirit gave me a shift in perspective, and I am leaning in. The prompt placed on my heart is this: “How can I contribute to a just and equitable world?”  Faith is not a passive position; it’s an active calling. The song “God of Justice” by Tim Hughes has been playing in my spirit as a reminder that we, as believers, God-speakers, and Christ-followers, are called to reflect **God’s heart for justice**. Not only in what we say, but in how we live, how we love, and how we lead.  Wherever we are.  Whenever we can.  In Jesus’ name.  Scripture:  “Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow’s cause.”  Isaiah 1:17 ESV.  This scripture is a divine summons to rise with bold, Spirit-led compassion. It’s a reminder that doing good and seeking justice isn’t optional; it’s who we’re called to be. Am I only talking about faith, or am I walking it out with purpose?  In what ways can I amplify justice and mercy in my community, my conversations, and my choices?  Who needs my voice to speak for them? Who needs my presence to show up for them? The world doesn’t need silent believers; it needs faith in motion.  Ask God today:  “Where do You want to use me, Lord, as an agent of change?”

Call to Action:
☑️Offer your voice in advocacy.
☑️Extend your hand in service.
☑️Use your influence for equity.
☑️Choose truth even when it’s hard.
☑️Answer, Listen, Move, and Be the answer to someone’s prayer for justice.

Prayer:
God of Justice,today I say yes to Your call.  Thank You for the gentle push to lean into what matters to You.  Help me to live a life that reflects Your justice and mercy.Give me courage to speak when others are silent,  And compassion to act when others hold back.  Let my faith be more than words, let it be a movement.
In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
