“Greater Is He That Is in You“

Scripture: “Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” 1 John 4: 4 ESV

Today, I declare again: I am not alone.  I am not without direction.  I have the presence of God with me, guiding, strengthening, and empowering me. As we enter into worship this Sacred Sunday, let us remember and rejoice in the truth that our faith in God is greater than any fear, falsehood, or force the world may bring against us.** This is not just encouragement, it is divine assurance grounded in the Word of God.  Because we are from God, we are not victims of this world—we are overcomers. The Spirit of God that dwells within us gives us victory, wisdom, and power to live boldly as believers.  There is something sacred about pausing on a Sunday morning to reflect, reaffirm, and realign ourselves with God’s truth. In a world overflowing with opinions, distractions, and distortions, we are called to hold fast to the unshakable truth of the gospel.  As we grow in faith, we also grow in resilience. The Holy Spirit equips us to discern, overcome, and live victoriously in Jesus’ name. Worship today with confidence, knowing **greater is He that is in you!

Call to Action:
* Reaffirm your faith aloud. Say:  The One in me is greater than anything in this world.”*
* Encourage someone else today:  remind them of their strength in Christ.
* Share today’s scripture or Song of the Day (Greater” by MercyMe*) with a friend who may need encouragement.
Invite the Holy Spirit to fill you anew and guide your week with power, peace, and purpose.

Prayer:
Gracious God,  Thank You for the promise of Your presence within me. When I feel overwhelmed, remind me that You are greater. When I feel uncertain, steady me with Your truth. Today, I recommit my heart to You. Strengthen my faith. Guard my mind. And empower my walk so that I may live boldly as a witness of Your grace and glory.  In Jesus’ mighty name I pray,  Amen.
