Today’s Song Of Inspiration
The Depth of God’s Love
Day 4 of Lent
Saturday, March 8, 2025
Scripture: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3: 16 ESV
Lent is a journey of reflection, renewal, and returning to the heart of God. Today, as we walk through this sacred season, we pause to meditate on one of the most profound truths in Scripture—God’s love for us is limitless, sacrificial, and eternal. This weekend, my heart is drawn to the many songs, poems, and writings that have sought to express the depth of God’s love. One song that stands out is “God So Loved” by Hillsong Worship. The lyrics echo the invitation of John 3:16 to bring all your failures and find redemption in the gift of Jesus Christ. If you find yourself weighed down by life’s burdens, listen to “God So Loved” and be reminded: You are loved beyond measure. Take a moment to surrender your fears, your doubts, and your past to the One who gave it all for you
Reflection: Love Without Limits
The love of God is not just a feeling—it is an action, a gift, a promise. In a world where love often comes with conditions, God’s love is freely given. It is not based on our perfection but on His grace.
- God’s love gives: He gave His Son so that we might live.
- God’s love invites: We are called to believe and receive eternal life.
- God’s love restores: No sin is too great, no heart is too broken for His redeeming power.
A Call to Worship and Trust
Let this be a day of worship and trust. If you find yourself weighed down by life’s burdens, listen to “God So Loved” and be reminded: You are loved beyond measure. Take a moment to surrender your fears, your doubts, and your past to the One who gave it all for you.
The Journey Continues…
Blessings and Peace,
