“So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.”
Psalm 90:12 ESV

As we arrive at the final day of March, we’re also at the threshold of moving deeper in our Lenten journey. Day 20 marks more than just a point on the calendar it’s a holy pause to remember that this season is not only about 40 days of reflection and sacrifice.
The song for reflection and inspiration, “Beyond the Days” by Mary Ellen Kopp, draws our hearts into quiet reflection and inspires our spirit to journey further with Christ, even after Lent ends.  It’s about cultivating a day-by-day relationship with Jesus that extends beyond the Lenten season.  The scripture is an invitation to pray for a heart of wisdom. In a world that often moves too fast, I ask God to slow us down just enough to number our days rightly seeing each one as a divine opportunity to grow, to love, and to walk more closely with God. Every day counts, each moment we surrender, reflect, and seek God’s presence shapes us into who God is calling us to be. Lent may have a set timeline, but the transformation it stirs within us is ongoing.

Prayer:
Lord, teach me to number my days with intention. Give me a heart of
wisdom that seeks You first in all things. May I continue walking with
You beyond the boundaries of Lent, living each day with purpose and grace.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
