Rain or Shine, Christ Is My Foundation

Scripture:  “Built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone.”  Ephesians 2:20 (ESV)

This morning, as I sit quietly watching the rain fall from my window, I am reminded of the steady presence of God. As Resurrection People, we are not promised sunny days every day, but we are promised a sure foundation. And that foundation is Christ.  Whether the skies are clear or stormy, God remains faithful. His Word is constant. His love is unshakable. His presence is near. The rain outside may blur my view, but it doesn’t change the truth: Jesus is my cornerstone.  The apostles and prophets laid the groundwork, but it is Christ who holds everything together. In seasons of uncertainty or transition, we must ask: Who is our foundation? When the winds blow, who or what keeps you grounded?  Take a moment today to reflect on your spiritual foundation. Is it rooted in Christ, or in things that shift with the weather? Let us continue walking in faith, rain or shine, knowing that we are being built into something holy and lasting.
