                                               “Saturday Stillness“

Scripture:  Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.  1
Peter 5:7 ESV.

In the quiet of this Saturday, I embrace stillness and sacred reflection. Today, I reaffirm my commitment to God, trusting in His unwavering commitment to us. As I sit in God’s presence, I remember and lift in prayer those who are still cleaning up, recovering, and grieving from the storms that struck on May 16, 2025. In our stillness, we find compassion. In our prayers, we find power.  Lord, in Your mercy, hear our prayers.  Let us cast every worry, fear, and burden into the arms of the One who cares deeply for us.  Let these words wash over you: “Do not be afraid, I am with you.” Rest in the loving presence of the One who calls you by name.
