Happy Peace with Justice
Tuesday Blessings of Grace and Peace
Scripture
“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.” Colossians 3:15 ESV
Devotion
Today, we pause to pray for the peace of Christ that surpasses all understanding, the kind of peace that transforms hearts, homes, and nations. On this Veterans Day, we remember those who have served and sacrificed, including my husband, Dennis Jefferson, and countless others whose courage has paved the way for freedom and safety. True peace is not simply the absence of conflict but the presence of justice, compassion, and gratitude.
Reflection
When Christ’s peace rules in our hearts, it changes the way we see and treat one another. It inspires us to seek harmony rooted in God’s love and truth. May we be instruments of that peace in our homes, our communities, and the world.
Call to Action
🙏🏾Pray for veterans and their families, thanking God for their service and sacrifice.
🙏🏾Seek peace with justice, act kindly, speak truth, and work toward unity.
🙏🏾Reflect on how Christ’s peace can guide your decisions and relationships today.
🙏🏾Express gratitude, express three ways you’ve seen God’s peace at work recently.
Pray
God, thank you for our Lord Jesus. Thank You, Jesus, for being the Prince of Peace. On this day, we honor those who have served and continue to serve with courage and love for others. Let Your peace rule in our hearts and in our world. Guide us by the Holy Spirit to be bearers of justice, mercy, and compassion. May our words and actions reflect Your peace today and every day. In Your holy name, we pray. Amen.
