Saturday Blessings and Joy!

Scripture
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord.  For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”  Isaiah 55:8-9 ESV

Devotion
Today I am finding deep joy and strength in God’s presence, even in the midst of difficult circumstances. Joy comes from God, and while the world may not understand or approve of passionate praise and faith, this devotion is a powerful, transformative force that can unleash unspeakable power, hope, and justice in Jesus’ name. I encourage us to seek, find, and hold onto this joy, which is a resilient posture that defies life’s challenges and serves as a testament to God’s unwavering goodness.

Reflection
God’s joy is not dependent on circumstances, approval, or worldly measures of success. It is rooted in His eternal truth and presence. In times of trial, this joy acts as a shield, giving strength where there is weakness and hope where despair tries to take root. By embracing God’s joy, we align ourselves with His higher thoughts and ways—ways that go beyond human understanding, bringing transformation not only to our own lives but also to the lives of others.

Call to Action
Pause today to thank God for His joy that transcends your current circumstances.
Choose joy as your response to challenges, instead of frustration or fear.
Share a word of encouragement with someone who may be struggling.
Worship God passionately, even if the world doesn’t understand, it’s a testimony of faith.

Pray
Almighty God, thank You for the gift of joy that comes only from Your presence. Help me to hold tightly to this joy, even when life’s challenges feel overwhelming. Remind me that Your thoughts are higher than my thoughts and Your ways greater than mine. May my life reflect resilient joy that points others to Your goodness and love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
