Saturday Blessings, Grace, and Peace

Scripture
“He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.”
Isaiah 40:29 ESV

Devotion
Today, I reflect on the promise that God will give new strength to those who wait on Him, allowing us to overcome exhaustion and difficulties. Waiting isn’t passive; it’s an active process of placing your hope in God. This kind of faith-filled waiting is what activates the divine strength promised by God and revealed through Jesus Christ.  Trusting God’s timing equips us to soar above challenges that seem like mountains, persevere through hardships, and stand strong in faith. Let’s walk together in this promise, finding renewed strength and hope in God daily.

Reflection
Active waiting means leaning into God’s presence with expectancy, not impatience. It’s continuing to serve, pray, worship, and trust even when the answers or breakthroughs have not yet arrived. God renews our spirit not only when the waiting ends, but also in the waiting itself.  When life drains us, God’s promise is sure: His strength is available to us daily. Like eagles that rise above the storm on strong winds, we too can rise above life’s struggles when we rely on Him.

Call to Action
🌄Begin your day with a prayer of trust, surrendering your plans to God.
🌄Pause and recite Isaiah 40:29 as a personal declaration.
🌄Encourage someone today who is waiting on God, remind them they are not alone.
🌄Commit one act of service this week as an expression of active waiting.

Pray
Heavenly Father, thank You for the promise of renewed strength. Teach me to wait actively on You, not with frustration but with faith. When I am weak, be my power. When I am weary, be my rest. Help me to soar on wings like eagles, to run and not grow weary, to walk and not faint. May my life reflect Your sustaining grace and unshakable hope. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
