Happy Sabbath Sunday!

Scripture
“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.”
2 Peter 3:18 ESV

Devotion
Today, I reflect and thank God for one more day, knowing that God is working in and through difficulties to bring about a positive outcome, even when it isn’t immediately apparent. God’s faithfulness is here, and I rejoice in another opportunity to praise and worship! When life’s difficulties cloud the horizon, remember that God is already working behind the scenes. What may seem hidden now will one day reveal His glory. Our response is to remain rooted in worship, faithful in prayer, and eager to grow. May we all find solace and joy in God’s continued presence and support, in Jesus’ name.

Reflection
Spiritual growth is not an instant process; it is a daily journey of choosing to lean into God’s faithfulness. Even in the midst of uncertainty, God is shaping us through His grace and knowledge, bringing us to maturity in Christ. Every day we are given is not “just another day” but an opportunity to grow deeper in faith, to experience God’s presence, and to live with joy and gratitude.

Call to Action
🙏🏽Begin today with a prayer of gratitude for God’s presence in your life.
🙏🏽Reflect on one way God has brought you through a difficult time.
🙏🏽Commit to growing and spending intentional time in Scripture this week.
🙏🏽Share with someone who may need to be reminded of God’s faithfulness.
🙏🏽Make worship time a daily part of your life, not just a Sunday activity.

Pray
Gracious God, thank You for the gift of this Sabbath day and for Your faithfulness that carries me through every circumstance. Help me to grow in grace and in the knowledge of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Teach me to see each day as an opportunity to worship, to serve, and to be transformed by Your Spirit. May my life give glory to You today and always. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
