Monday Joy Be With You!

Scripture
“Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.”
Romans 5:2 ESV

Devotion
Today I choose joy in Jesus, the true source of hope, peace, and purpose. Jesus is our constant guide and comfort in both good times and hard times. This joy is not a fleeting happiness tied to circumstances, but a deep, steady joy rooted in a living relationship with God through Jesus Christ and nurtured daily by the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The joy of the Lord is steadfast and permanent, unlike human emotions that come and go. As we step into this new week, let us choose to walk in joy—not because life is always easy, but because God’s presence is always with us.

Reflection
Joy in the Lord is not dependent on life’s ups and downs. It is grounded in God’s unchanging love, grace, and presence. The world may offer temporary happiness, but Christ offers a joy that steadies the heart, strengthens the soul, and renews the spirit. As believers, we stand in grace, clothed in hope, and empowered by the Holy Spirit to live joyfully in every season. This week, let your joy be a testimony—not that life is free of hardship, but that God is faithful in every circumstance.

Call to Action
🌄Begin each day this week by declaring: “Today, I choose joy in Jesus.”
🌄Write down three ways God’s presence brings you peace, even in difficulty.
🌄Encourage someone by reminding them that joy is found in Christ.
🌄Sing or meditate on the Song of the Day to lift your spirit and refocus your heart.

Pray
Gracious God, I thank You for the everlasting joy that comes from Your presence. Help me not to depend on fleeting emotions but to stand firmly in the joy of Christ. May this joy overflow in my words, actions, and spirit as I walk through this week. Guide me by Your Spirit, strengthen me by Your Word, and remind me daily that You are with me. I rejoice in the hope of Your glory, through Jesus Christ my Savior. Amen.
