Wednesday Joy Be With You!

Scripture
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.”
Galatians 5:22-23 (ESV)

Devotion
Today, I pause to reflect on divine Joy, a fruit of the Spirit. Unlike fleeting happiness, “God’s Joy” is of divine origin. It is a deep, sustaining contentment that flows from the Holy Spirit and remains steady even in times of trial. Through Jesus’ completed act of redemption, the joy of salvation is already secured for us!

Reflection
Joy is not based on what happens around us but on what God has already done within us. Happiness may rise and fall with circumstances, but God’s Joy remains anchored in His promises and His presence. This joy is evidence of the Spirit at work in our lives, reminding us that Christ’s victory has already been won. No matter the struggles we face, we can live with confidence and peace because the joy of salvation is secure.

Call to Action
🍇Choose Joy: Begin today with a declaration that your joy is rooted in Christ.
🍇Practice Gratitude: Declare thankfulness and connect it to God’s goodness.
🍇Encourage Someone: Share a word of joy with someone today.
🍇Worship in Song: Listen to today’s song and let its lyrics remind you of joy.

Pray
Gracious God, thank You for the gift of divine Joy. Thank You that it is
not fleeting or conditional but steady and everlasting through the
power of the Holy Spirit. Help me to walk in the assurance of Jesus’
completed work on the cross, knowing that my salvation is secure.
May my life reflect the joy of the Lord in every situation, and may I be
a vessel of joy to others today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
