Saturday Joy Be With You!
October 18, 2025
Scripture
“For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime.
Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.”
Psalm 30:5 ESV
Devotion
Today I proclaim that Joy is coming! Even when challenges arise, I rest in the assurance that a deeper, more permanent joy, rooted in faith, is on the way.
This joy does not depend on circumstances; it flows from God’s unchanging
love and the promised gift of the Holy Spirit guiding us daily. It’s the joy that
anchors our hearts in gratitude and hope for what God is doing and what God
will do in the future, in Jesus’ name. This is the joy that cannot be stolen by circumstances because it is rooted in God’s faithfulness. When we walk through hardship with trust and praise, we prepare room for joy to enter. So, hold on
to hope, keep your faith alive, and proclaim with confidence: Joy is coming.
Let us celebrate the promise that God’s favor lasts a lifetime!
Reflection
There are seasons in life when the night feels long—when trials seem to linger and joy feels distant. Yet, Psalm 30:5 reminds us that joy is not gone; it’s simply waiting for the morning. The joy God gives is not fleeting or fragile—it’s born of the Spirit and anchored in His eternal favor. Even when life tests us, we can trust that morning will come, bringing renewed hope and divine joy that overflows into our hearts and lives.
