Scripture
“Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.” Philippians 2:12–13
Devotion
Beloved friends, today I reflect on the unlimited power of God’s salvation that brings new life, renewal, and revival. Saying “yes” to God through a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, and following the prompting of the Holy Spirit, releases His transforming power, building an unshakeable foundation of faith. God changes our heart’s desires, giving us a willing spirit to do His will, and He provides the strength to carry it out. What a gift of grace and power!
Reflection
God’s salvation is not a one-time moment but a continual process of renewal and transformation. When we say “yes” to God daily, we open ourselves to the Spirit’s leading, and our desires shift to align with His. It is through this ongoing work of grace that God both equips and empowers us to live faithfully and fruitfully. Reflect today on the ways God has been reshaping your heart, desires, and actions to reflect His good purpose.
