Song Of The Day

September 22, 2025
Happy Monday!

Scripture
“Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.”
Matthew 5:7 ESV

Devotion
Beloved friends, today let us reflect on justice and mercy. May we live as expressions of God’s ways and will, as exemplified through Jesus Christ. Let us embody compassion for the poor and the oppressed so that our lives glorify God. Mercy is not just a virtue to admire but a tangible call to action. As followers of Christ, we are called to express justice, mercy, and compassion toward others, in Jesus’ name, guided by the Holy Spirit. Will you join in reflecting, praying, and walking in mercy and justice so God’s love may be revealed in our actions?

Reflection
Mercy is more than a feeling or an attitude, it is an active force in the world, shaping lives and transforming communities. Jesus calls us not only to receive mercy but also to share it generously. Each encounter with another person is an opportunity to reveal Christ’s love, especially to the poor, the oppressed, and the overlooked. Mercy moves us beyond comfort and compels us to join God’s work of justice, revealing glimpses of God’s Kingdom in our everyday actions.

Call to Action
Reflect today on how mercy and justice are being expressed in daily life.
Look for practical ways to show compassion to someone in need.
Pray for the Holy Spirit’s guidance to see people as God sees them.
Share a loving act that brings dignity or relief to someone oppressed or struggling.
Let every action, small or large—display the mercy of God to the world.

Pray
Gracious God, thank You for showing us mercy through Jesus Christ. Help us to live daily as vessels of Your justice and compassion. Empower us by Your Holy Spirit to love others courageously and selflessly. May our actions bring glory to You and reveal Your heart to everyone we meet. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
