“Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act.
He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.”
Psalm 37:5–6 ESV

Devotion
Today I acknowledge the real-world tragedies and injustices that weigh on our hearts—hunger, political oppression, and the violence of demagogues. In the midst of these realities, I turn to God in Jesus’ name, seeking direction and a path that leads to peace with justice. May the promptings of the Holy Spirit guide us, giving us both the voice and the actions to embody God’s justice in our homes, neighborhoods, nation, and throughout the world. Together, we can create positive changes that will bless and benefit all people. Will you join me in prayer and reflection today as we seek God’s way of peace and justice?

Reflection
The world is filled with struggles that can feel overwhelming—poverty, injustice, and violence at every turn. Yet the promise of God assures us that when we commit our way to Him, He not only hears but acts. Our justice, our light, and our hope are sustained by His hand. The Spirit nudges us not to turn away from the cries of the oppressed but to become vessels of God’s love, mercy, and justice. As the Church and as individuals, we are called to speak boldly and act faithfully so that God’s righteousness shines through us as a beacon of hope for others.

Call to Action
📣Pray for God’s justice to be revealed in the world today.
📣Look for ways you can act justly within your family, neighborhood, or community.
📣Use your voice to advocate for those who are hungry, oppressed, or silenced.
📣Trust that God will strengthen your steps as you walk in His ways.

Pray
Gracious God, we lift before You the brokenness of our world, hunger, oppression, violence, and despair. In Jesus’ name, we ask for Your guidance, strength, and courage to walk in the ways of justice and peace. Holy Spirit, stir our hearts to respond with both compassion and action. May our lives shine with Your righteousness, bringing blessing to others and glory to Your name. Amen.
