Scripture:  “But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”  Isaiah 40:31 ESV

Today, I reflect on faith amid perseverance. Life often presents challenges that test our endurance, but we are not alone in our journey. When we wait on the Lord, trusting in His perfect timing, we receive renewed strength that allows us to rise above difficulties, just as eagles soar effortlessly through the sky.  There something deeply moving about hearing children sing words of encouragementg “I’ll Rise Up” by the OAA Elementary School Choir. Their voices remind us of faith’s purity and hope’s power. No matter how weary we may feel, we, too, can rise up with God’s strength carrying us forward. Waiting on the Lord is not passive—it is an act of faith, a declaration that we trust in God’s plans over our own.  Remember that God is your strength. Lean into Him, take a deep breath, and allow His Spirit to renew you. You will rise again!

Prayer for Today
God, thank You for being my source of strength. When I feel weak, remind me that in You, I can rise up and move forward with confidence. Help me to trust in Your perfect timing and to wait patiently for the renewal You promise. Strengthen my heart today so I may walk in faith and perseverance. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
