The Song Of Inspiration

Scripture: “But I will sing of your strength; I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning. Today’s  song of inspiration “How I Got Over” featuring Vicki Winans is one of the songs I grew up hearing on Sunday morning.  As I reflect today, I am reminded of the songs and teachings of my elders, words of wisdom and melodies of hope that carried them through adversity. Their faith in God, their resilience, strength, and power have sustained me through the years.  As a powerful Black woman, a woman of color, I stand on the foundation laid by those who came before me. Their prayers, their struggles, and their unwavering trust in God have paved the way for me to walk boldly in faith.  God has been my refuge, my strong tower in times of trouble. Through every trial and challenge, His steadfast love has sustained me. I encourage you today to lift up a song of praise, to reflect on God’s goodness, and to remember that you are standing on the shoulders of those who trusted in Him before you.

How has God brought you through? Take a moment today to give thanks for the journey and to celebrate the faithfulness of God in your life.
