Scripture:  “He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.”  Hebrews 1:3 ESV

The sun is shining brightly through my favorite kitchen window! Though I am not feeling my best today—perhaps it’s a cold or a virus—the warmth of the sunlight has lifted my spirit. The song of inspiration, “You Brought The Sunshine”  by the Clark Sisters, is a reminder that is just how God works! God reminds us, even in the smallest moments, that God’s presence brings comfort, renewal, and hope. The scripture affirms that the light of Christ shines through even the darkest days. Just as the sun peeks through the window and changes our outlook, so does Jesus, the radiance of God’s glory. His presence lifts our hearts, heals our wounds, and strengthens our faith. When we feel weary physically or spiritually God’s light reminds us that He is still in control, holding all things together by His mighty power.  So today, whether the sun is shining through your window or your spirit feels clouded, take a moment to bask in the warmth of God’s love.  God’s presence renews you, in Jesus’ His light never fades, and His promises never fail.
