Today’s Song Of Reflection and Inspiration
Wednesday, Witness!
One Week Of Lent Day 8

Scripture: “The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9 ESV
Today marks one full week of our Lenten journey, a journey of reflection, repentance, and renewal. As I pause to consider these 40 days, I am reminded of God’s abundant patience and mercy. Repentance is not merely a duty but an invitation. An invitation to turn away from the distractions, sins, and burdens that weigh us down and turn toward the heart of God. What a gift it is to know that our God is patient with us! God waits for us, not in judgment but in love. God longs for us to come to God, to experience the fullness of God’s grace, and to walk in the newness of life. Lent is not about empty rituals but about deep transformation an opportunity to witness God’s mercy and extend that same mercy to others.
As I reflect today, I hold on to the truth that God’s will is that no one should perish. That includes you. That includes me. No one is too far gone. No sin is too great. His love reaches beyond our failures, and His grace calls us home. May the song “Lord, Who Throughout These Forty Days” remind us that just as Jesus walked His road to the cross with purpose, so too must we walk this season of Lent with intention, seeking Him, repenting sincerely, and bearing witness to His enduring love.
The journey continues…
Blessings and Peace,
