Today’s Song Of Reflection and Inspiration

Adoring the Lord with My Life
Thursday, Day 9 of Lent
Thursday, March 13, 2025

Scripture: “Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.”
Revelation 4:11 (ESV)

Today, I pause to reflect on what it truly means to adore the Lord, not just in words or in song, but in the surrender of my life to Him. Adoration is more than praise; it is a deep, reverent love that shapes how I live, move, and have my being in Christ.  To adore God is to recognize His supreme worthiness. He is the Creator of all things, the One who spoke life into existence, the One whose will sustains the universe. Every breath I take, every moment I experience, is by His grace. If God is worthy of all glory, honor, and power, then my response must be one of total surrender.

Adoration is not just an act of worship; it is a way of life.  As I listen to the hymn “Father, I Adore You” by P&H Singers, I let the words resonate within me: “Lay my life before You, how I love You.”Am I holding anything back from God? Have I given Him my full devotion, my undivided heart? Today, I am called to lay everything before the Lord—my desires, my plans, my fears—and allow Him to direct my steps. This is my prayer—to adore God not only with my lips but with my entire being.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, You alone are worthy of my highest praise and deepest love. Teach me to adore You with my whole heart, not just in moments of worship, but in the way I live my life daily. May my thoughts, words, and actions reflect my complete devotion to You. Let my life be an offering of love, surrendered fully to Your will. In Jesus’ name, Ame
