Today’s Song of Reflection and Inspiration

“Lord, Send Me!”

Scripture:  “And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?’ Then I said, ‘Here I am! Send me.”  Isaiah 6:8 ESV

Each day, my “Yes” in Jesus’ name is not just a moment of agreement it is a call to action.  Today’s song of inspiration “Here I Am, Lord” by Eric Tom is a reminder of when  I say “Yes” to Christ, I am saying “Yes” to being sent into the world as His hands and feet. This is not a one-time commission, but a daily surrender to His will and purpose.  Today, I reflect on the power of availability. Isaiah’s response to God’s call was immediate and bold. He did not hesitate or ask for more details he simply said, “Here I am! Send me.” What would it look like if I lived with that same readiness? If my “Yes” was more than words, but a movement of faith?  I have a sacred trust and call to step forward with God. God is not just looking for the equipped God equips those who are willing. Every moment presents an opportunity to share His love, speak His truth, and serve His people. Whether in small acts of kindness or great leaps of faith, I am sent to be a light in a world that desperately needs the hope of Christ.  “Lord, send me!”  Let this be my prayer and declaration, a commitment to go where He leads.
