Day 13 of Lent
“Telling the Story of Jesus”

Scripture:
And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.”  Mark 16:15 ESV

Today, I reflect on the power of personal story and testimony. Each of us has a story a journey of faith that reveals God’s transforming power in our lives. The scripture tells us to tell the story to all creation.  As I share my devotions, prayers, webpage, and podcast, my greatest joy is telling the story of Jesus. His love, grace, and redemption are too good to keep to myself!  The hymn “I Love to Tell the Story” by Rosemary Siemens echoes this truth. The more we share the gospel, the deeper our relationship with God grows. Witnessing isn’t just about words; it’s about living in a way that reflects Christ’s presence in our lives.

During this Lenten season, let’s ask ourselves:

• How has Jesus transformed my life?
• Who needs to hear my testimony today?
• How can I share His love in my daily interactions?

You don’t have to be a preacher or a missionary to proclaim the gospel. Your life—your kindness, your patience, your faithfulness—tells the story.
