Today’s Song For Reflection

Day 15 of Lent

“Guided by Love, Led by Wisdom”

Scripture:  I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.”  Psalm 32:8 ESV

Today, I pause to reflect on the quiet assurance that we are never left to navigate life alone. In the midst of decisions, challenges, and even our daily routines,  according to today’s scripture, we have a divine promise: God, will instruct and guide us. He doesn’t offer vague advice or distant direction—He offers personal counsel, keeping His loving and watchful eye on each of us.  This Lenten journey is a sacred opportunity to re-center ourselves, to loosen our grip on self-reliance, and instead cling to God’s infinite wisdom. Lent invites us to trust deeper, to surrender our need to always “know,” and instead walk confidently, knowing He knows. As we fast, pray, and reflect, may we also learn to rest in the presence of the One who never takes His eyes off us. The song “Be Thou My Guardian and My Guide”  by St Peter’s Parkstone, a prayer in song, reminding us that God’s guidance is not just a comfort, but a promise. I trust in God’s unfailing love, in Jesus’ name, and invite the Holy Spirit to guide us, not just through Lent, but into every tomorrow.
