Happy Pentecost Sunday

Scripture: Acts: 2:1-4 NRSV
“And suddenly from heaven there came a sound like the rush of a violent wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. Divided tongues, as of fire, appeared among them, and a tongue rested on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them ability.”

Pentecost is a sacred celebration of the Holy Spirit’s arrival, a divine moment when fiery tongues of power and unity fell upon God’s people. It’s a joyful reminder that the Spirit of God is always present, empowering us to speak with boldness, love beyond barriers, and serve with unwavering devotion. Today, as we remember Pentecost, let us open our hearts to the Holy Spirit’s presence, embracing the breath of new life, hope, and holy transformation. May we be filled anew with God’s Spirit, stepping boldly into the world as witnesses of His love, justice, and grace. Hallelujah!
