Devotion – Restored by God’s Grace
Today, I reflect on what it means to ask God to “Restore” me, to return me to a place of joy rooted in the assurance that God has rescued my soul. I am covered by God’s sovereign protection, grounded in God’s promises, and sustained by God’s unfailing love. Through the saving work of Jesus Christ and the daily guidance of the Holy Spirit, I experience a deep spiritual joy. It is the joy that comes from knowing that God has the power to fully “Restore “me, forgive me, deeply love me, and renew my spirit. God does not leave us broken by our mistakes, burdened by our failures, or trapped by our past. Instead, God invites us into a relationship of grace where healing, renewal, and restoration are possible. As I step into this new day with thanksgiving, I am reminded that restoration is not merely about recovering what was lost; it is about experiencing God’s transforming presence. The Lord has the power to “Restore” our hope when we are discouraged, our peace when we are troubled, and our joy when life has drained our spirits. Through Christ, we are given a fresh start and a renewed purpose.
Reflection
Let us rest today in God’s power to “Restore” us, forgive our past mistakes, heal our souls, and lead us into a place of lasting joy. No situation is beyond God’s ability to redeem, and no heart is beyond God’s ability to renew. Where do you need God’s restoring touch today? Is there an area of your life where joy has been replaced by worry, regret, disappointment, or weariness? Spend time in prayer and invite God to “Restore” your heart, renew your spirit, and remind you of the joy found in God’s salvation.

Prayer
Gracious and Loving God, thank You for Your restoring power and unfailing love. Thank You for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ and for the presence of the Holy Spirit who guides and renews me each day. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation. Heal every wounded place in my heart, forgive my shortcomings, and strengthen me with a willing spirit. Help me to trust in Your promises and rest in the assurance that You are always at work making all things new. May my life reflect the joy, peace, and hope that come from walking closely with You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
