Word For Today – Strengthened
Scripture
“That according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being.” Ephesians 3:16 ESV
Devotion – Strengthened From Within
Today, reflect on the word “Strengthened.” God is our strength. I am “Strengthened” by the assurance that God is present in this new day, in Jesus’ name, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. As believers, we are “Strengthened” with spiritual power, inner confidence, and hopeful anticipation for the possibilities each new day brings. This strength does not come from human effort or willpower. It flows from the unlimited riches of God’s grace and glory. God works deeply within our hearts and souls, giving us what we need to live faithfully, face challenges, and continue moving forward. Whatever we encounter today, we do not face it relying only on our own abilities. God is present to sustain, empower, and renew us. May we walk confidently today, knowing that through the Holy Spirit, we are “Strengthened” from within.
Reflection
God’s strength may not remove every challenge, but God’s presence gives us the spiritual power, courage, and grace to faithfully walk through it. Where do I need God to strengthen me today? Am I relying on my own ability, or am I trusting the Holy Spirit to renew my inner being?
Call to Action
🌄Pray for the Holy Spirit to strengthen you from within.
🌄Release the pressure to accomplish everything through your own strength.
🌄Trust the unlimited resources of God’s grace and glory.
🌄Face today “Strengthened” with hopeful anticipation for what God can do.
🌄Encourage someone reminding them that God will sustain and strengthen them.
Pray
Gracious God, thank You for the gift of this new day. I praise You because You are my strength. In the name of Jesus, strengthen me through the power and presence of the Holy Spirit. When I feel weary, renew me. When I am uncertain, give me confidence. When challenges arise, remind me that I do not have to depend solely on my own abilities. Work deeply within my heart and soul so that my life reflects the immeasurable riches of Your grace and glory. Strengthen my faith, renew my hope, and empower me to serve, encourage, and love others. Whatever this day brings, help me walk forward knowing that You are with me, sustaining and strengthening me from within. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
